Day 3 of course and picked up a few interesting facts, such as did you know that in one day a bee visits 6000 flowers, with say 30,000 flying worker bees that's 180,000 flowers visited a day!
It also seems possible that honey can be harvested early provided you leave them plenty to tide them over in June which apparently is a lean period for bees, but have a cunning plan for June as have bought some early cropping runner beans and seeds of a plant called "Blue Borage" which bees are supposed to love, time will tell :), and the flowers are supposed to taste nice as well!
Learnt a bit about swarming and I think I am actually going to look forward to this, sounds like fun :).
